Vickie Stevens began knitting purses in 2003 to accessorize her wardrobe. Her beautiful handcrafted purses caught the eye of friends and family, so she gave them as gifts. After friends encouraged her to sell her purses, Sassy Saks was created.

Saks are made with 75%-100% wool, combined with other novelty yarns that are knitted together and felted. Unusual, one-of-a-kind items are used to create her Saks, such as a distinctive handle and embellishments like jewels or flowers.
